En klassisk fase i alle større projekter er fasen hvor man skal have lagt sig fast på stil og tone, og til det formål er et moodboard et rigtig godt værktøj.
Men, for at lave et moodboard kræver det jo at der er en person, som bruger tid på at søge gennemtrevle nettet for at finde de billeder som udtrykker det helt rigtige, og det kan godt være en proces der kræver lidt tid.

Hvis man gerne vil hurtigere igang, så kan det derfor anbefales at prøve Moodstream, som er et digitalt moodboard der suger billeder, film og musik fra Getty Images arkiver.
Her stiller man det ønskede mood på nogle sliders, eksempelvis Happy til Sad, Warm til Cool m.fl. og udfra det genererer den så en slags slideshow med nogle forslag.

Værktøjet som sådan er ikke helt perfekt endnu, da man mangler et par valgmuligheder, såsom at man kun vil se billeder, ligesom det ville være fedt at kunne kombinere humøret med helt almindelige tags, for at få det snævret ind. Derudover ser det ud til, at resultaterne for hvert humørindstilling er næsten identiske hver gang, med andre ord ser det ud til at det kun er en begrænset del af arkivet den trækker på, men man kan jo håbe at der kommer mere til.
