ActionScript har altid været baseret på en JavaScript lignende syntax, som er blevet mere og mere JavaScript agtigt, men nu ser det ud til at inspirationen også er begyndt at gå den anden vej.

Først så faldt jeg over en JavaScript tween class som er lavet, så den struktur- og navngivningsmæssigt ligner en ActionScript klasse til forveksling, nemlig:

Og nu er jeg så lige faldet over en artikel der handler om JavaScript Closures, og igen er det skræmmende meget lig ActionScript:

Jeg er godt klar over at grunden til det er, at både JavaScript og ActionScript er bygge på ECMAScript standarden, men hvis ikke andre steder, så har der alligevel været en væsentligt forskel på de to sprog oppe i mit hoved, men den forskel er så absolut ved at blive mindre.
